The BBC Philharmonic's Red Brick Sessions in Salford were recently broadcast on BBC Radio 3, featuring performances of Residuum, Falling Angel and Spine.

Forest, a new concerto for Four Horns, commissioned by Esa-Pekka Salonen for the Philharmonia Orchestra, premiered in February at the Anvil in Basingstoke, and also toured with the Philharmonia and Esa-Pekka to London and Madrid. The same four horn soloists (Richard Watkins, Katy Woolley, Nigel Black & Michael Thompson) performed the piece three more times in New York with the New York Philharmonic, again under the baton of Esa-Pekka Salonen. Song of Pure Nothingness - version for Countertenor and piano - had its Aldeburgh premiere on 12th June. More info here. On 14th June, Nonclassical presented a night of music by Tansy, at the Victoria in Dalston (East London). The programme included the UK premiere of Song of Pure Nothingness - version for Soprano and Indian Harmonium. Watch the recorded live stream here.

Ensemble Musikfabrik has commissioned Tansy to write a work for solo horn and electronics for Christine Chapman to be performed in Cologne, Germany on 6th October 2017. Concert info here.
